Business Studies (B.S.)

This major is offered through the School of Business. The primary mission of the Business & Sport Management department is to prepare students to fulfill their God-given
calling as a marketplace missionary (Eph 4:12). While striving to accomplish this mission, the department develops the student’s ability to creatively solve real-world
problems by utilizing higher-level critical thinking skills.

The major core includes the 42 credits of the Business core plus the following:

A minimum of 36 credits must be at the upper (300-400) level for a bachelor degree.

Option: Accelerated Degree Program


Qualified students in the School of Business may apply for an accelerated degree program to earn their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in an additional year instead of the typical two years. Click here for more detailed information regarding the acceptance process for this option.

Departmental Acceptance


Students apply for departmental acceptance during their sophomore year spring semester or their junior year fall semester. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA is required for departmental admission in the Business and Sport Management Department .
