MBA 5230 - Business Law and Ethics

SUMMER

This course provides a strategic understanding of business law and its intersection with ethics and compliance in a global and digital marketplace. It equips leaders to foster accountable cultures that mitigate legal and ethical risks, while promoting sustainable value creation. Beginning with core legal frameworks ranging from corporate formation and organization, governing structures, legal contracts and contractual obligations, this course focuses on how organizations successfully navigate ethical, legal and compliance issues and dilemmas in a global context while maintaining integrity, accountability, and Christian virtues. This includes topics such as data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), cyber law, and global compliance requirements.
