Microbiology Laboratory provides hands-on experience in culturing, staining, and identifying microorganisms using standard microbiological techniques and analysis. Topics include aseptic technique, microscopy, bacterial staining (Gram, acid-fast), culture methods, biochemical testing, antimicrobial sensitivity testing, and bioinformatics. Students will develop skills in lab safety, microbial identification, and data interpretation relevant to clinical and environmental microbiology.

Prerequisite: BIO 143 and BIO 143L

Corequisite: BIO 321
