Program Requirements


I. Core Curriculum - 48 Credits


All Biblical, Theological and Ministry Studies Department  classes must be completed with a grade of C or higher.

Ministry Studies Concentrations (select one) - 21 Credits:


Pastoral Leadership  

Worship Ministry  

Youth & Next Generation  

III. Electives - 18 Credits


A minimum of 36 credits must be at the upper (300-400) level for a bachelor degree.

Total - 125 Credits


Option: Accelerated Degree Programs


Qualified students may apply for an accelerated degree program to earn their M.A. in Christian Studies  (MACS) degree in one additional year instead of the typical two years. Click here for more detailed information regarding the acceptance process for this option.

Departmental Acceptance


Students apply for departmental acceptance during their sophomore year spring semester or their junior year fall semester. A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required for departmental admission in the Biblical, Theological and Ministry Studies Department  (BTMS). A grade of “C” or higher is required in all BTMS department courses in the Core Curriculum and Major Core for admission into and graduation from all BTMS majors.
