Program Requirements
II. Ministry Studies Major - 38 Credits
All major core and concentration classes must be completed with a grade of C or higher. III. Electives - 18 Credits
A minimum of 36 credits must be at the upper (300-400) level for a bachelor degree. Youth & Next Generation Concentration Requirements - 21 Credits
Option: Accelerated Degree Programs
Qualified students may apply for an accelerated degree program to earn their M.A. in Christian Studies (MACS) degree in one additional year instead of the typical two years. Click here for more detailed information regarding the acceptance process for this option. Course Requirements for MACS
Students who are accepted into the accelerated MACS program will substitute the following graduate level courses into the undergraduate degree. - BIB 261 - Introduction to the Bible and Interpretation 3 Credits
- ENG 132 - Writing and Literature 3 Credits
- ENG/HIS/MAT/SCI Elective 3-4 Credits (Choose from: ENG 249 , ENG 312 , ENG 314 , ENG 322 , ENG 326 , HIS 133 , HIS 134 , HIS 231 , HIS 232 , MAT elective or a Lab Science class)
- History Elective 3 Credits (Choose from: HIS 133 , HIS 134 , HIS 231 or HIS 232 )

Departmental Acceptance
Students apply for departmental acceptance during their sophomore year spring semester or their junior year fall semester. A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required for departmental admission in the Biblical, Theological and Ministry Studies Department (BTMS). A grade of “C” or higher is required in all BTMS department courses in the Core Curriculum and Major Core for admission into and graduation from all BTMS majors. Fall Semester - 16 Credits
