Pastoral Leadership Major (B.A.)

Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Arts & Sciences Academic Programs

This major is offered through the School of Arts & Sciences. The mission of the Pastoral Leadership major is to equip students to lead and shepherd healthy, great-commission disciples and churches. The major builds on a foundational study of the humanities and sciences, the Bible, and theology. Students are allowed elective hours which may be used for a minor or concentration in a particular area of ministry. Students are encouraged to complete the Greek Language Emphasis that offers a study of the New Testament in its original language. This emphasis is valuable for biblical preaching and further theological study especially if a student is planning to go to seminary.
