CHM 406 - Diversity in the Church

Attention will be given to the role of ethnic diversity, focusing on African Americans, Asian Americans, and Hispanic Americans, and women in North American ministry and other ministry settings. Major emphasis will be given to the issues people of diversity face in church ministry and how these can be overcome. The history of ethnic groups and women in the church will also be considered. The course will also cover how to develop a diverse ministry or church.

Prerequisite: BIB 231
