Child and Family Ministry Major (B.S.)

Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Academic Departments

The mission of this major is to equip men and women to lead child and family ministries. The major focuses specifically on parent education and implementing strategies for programming and caring for children. Qualified students will be encouraged to study at Focus on the Family Institute in Colorado Springs for one semester, providing both classroom and internship experience.

“Crown’s attention to detail, broad range of teaching styles, and hands-on approach to preparation for ministry more than adequately prepared me for my position as children’s pastor. I entered ministry with more practical knowledge and strategies than many of my colleagues.”

–Melissa MacDonald, Children’s Ministry Consultant
