Social Entrepreneurship Major (B.S.)

The Social Entrepreneurship major prepares individuals who can apply creative and innovative business strategies to the challenging problems of society for the purpose of creating sustainable solutions. Individuals that complete this major will generally serve either in a non-traditional ministry position or start sustainable for profit or not-for-profit organizations both in the U.S. and abroad. The Business Department supports the mission of Crown College by training individuals that will use their skills and abilities for the purpose of impacting the world for Christ through marketplace missions.

1 Select humanities electives from COM, ENG, ESL, FAR, HIS, HUM, LAN, MUS, PHI, or PRC. 2 Select social science electives from ANT, CSJ, ECO, ESL, GEO, HIS, POL, PSY, or SOC. 3 Click here for a list of Global Awareness courses. * Some courses from the Christian Studies Core and Major Core can be used to fulfill requirements in the General Education Core. Departmental Acceptance
Students apply for departmental acceptance during their sophomore year spring semester or their junior year fall semester. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA and completion of half of the Christian Service requirements are required for departmental admission in the Social Entrepreneurship major. Fall Semester - 16 Credits
