Master of Divinity (M.Div.)

This degree is offered through the Graduate School of Ministry. Students completing other graduate work at Crown College may elect to graduate from their degree program and then transfer applicable credits into the M.Div. degree program.

 

Required Courses for the Master of Divinity Degree


IV. Electives - 15 Credits


General electives should be selected in consultation with one’s academic advisor. General electives accepted for transfer into this degree program should normally fall within the areas of study represented by the concentrations. Students may choose one of the following ministry concentration options to fulfill their electives:

Chaplaincy Concentration  

Church Development Concentration  

Community Development Concentration  

Disaster and Emergency Management Concentration  

Hmong Ministry Concentration  

Intercultural Ministries Concentration  

International Christian Education Concentration  

Media Ministry Concentration

Total - 72 Credits


1 Students pursuing ordination with the C&MA should take CST 5222 - Alliance Distinctives  since this course fulfills the Alliance Polity requirements for the denomination.

2 Students who successfully complete MIN 5881  and MIN 5882  may use those courses to fulfill MIN 6920  and MIN 6922 .
