				This major is offered through the School of Arts & Sciences. The Biblical and Theological Studies major blends a biblical and theological foundation with a flexibility of electives.

		I. Core Curriculum - 48 Credits
 All Biblical, Theological and Ministry Studies department classes must be completed with a grade of C or higher. II. Biblical and Theological Studies Major - 47 Credits
 All major core classes must be completed with a grade of C or higher. III. Electives - 30 Credits
 A minimum of 36 credits must be at the upper (300-400) level for a bachelor degree. Total - 125 Credits
 1 Department students planning on C&MA ministry should take THE 349  as a BIB/THE elective. Students in this major should not take BIB 210  as a BIB/THE elective.    Option: Accelerated Degree Programs
 Qualified students in the B.A. in Biblical & Theological Studies program may apply for an accelerated degree program to earn their M.A. in Christian Studies  (MACS) degree in one additional year instead of the typical two years.  Departmental Acceptance
 Students apply for departmental acceptance during their sophomore year spring semester or their junior year fall semester. A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required for departmental admission in the Biblical and Theological Studies major. A grade of “C” or higher is required in all Biblical, Theological and Ministry Studies (BTMS) department courses in the Core Curriculum and Major Core for admission into and graduation from all BTMS majors.
