This degree is offered through the School of Online Studies. It is designed for students who want to learn to teach English to speakers of foreign languages, especially those students who live in majority non-native English speaking countries. Crown’s program will not qualify students for licensure in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language). Students who want to teach English in formal educational settings in the United States will not be able to fulfill the requirements necessary to become licensed through Crown’s program.

Total - 60 Credits

¹Counts towards 3 credits of Social Science credits. Students who have successfully completed 60 credits with a GPA of at least a 2.0 may replace SOC 1510 with a Communication, Humanities, Math, Science or Social Science elective.

* Some courses from the Christian Studies Core and Major Core can be used to fulfill requirements in the General Education Core. By doing that the number of electives needed would increase so that the minimum of 60 credits is reached.
