Business Administration Major (B.S)


 

 

This major is offered through the School of Arts & Sciences. The primary mission of the Business and Sport Management Department at Crown College is to prepare students to fulfill their God-given calling as a marketplace missionary (Eph 4:12). While striving to accomplish this mission, the department develops the student’s ability to creatively solve real-world problems by utilizing higher-level critical thinking skills.

A minimum of 36 credits must be at the upper (300-400) level for a bachelor degree.

* Some courses from the Christian Studies Core and Major Core can be used to fulfill requirements in the General Education Core. By doing that the number of electives needed would increase so that the minimum of 125 credits is reached.

1 Interdisciplinary courses in the major core that are cross listed as BIB or THE will fulfill this requirement. Choose Christian Ministry electives from CHM 300 , CHM 301  or CHM 326 .

2 Select humanities electives from COM, ENG, FAR, HIS, HUM, LAN, MUS, PHI, or PRC.

3 Select social science electives from ANT, CSJ, ECO, GEO, HIS, POL, PSY, or SOC.

Option: Accelerated Degree Program


Qualified students in the B.S. in Business Administration program may apply for an accelerated degree program to earn their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)  in an additional year instead of the typical two years. Departmental Acceptance


Students apply for departmental acceptance during their sophomore year spring semester or their junior year fall semester. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA is required for departmental admission in the Business Administration major.
