Global and Cultural Studies Major (A.A.)

Students who pursue or complete the Global and Cultural Studies Major (A.A.) are invited to complete their bachelor’s degree on campus in Crown’s Intercultural Youth Development Major (B.S.) or International Relations Major (B.A.) . All of the coursework in the A.A. applies toward these two programs, and students who complete the A.A. in the Global Bridge program can also count the internship toward their major.

IV. Electives - 1 Credits

If students take 18 or 21 credits in the Christian Studies core, the extra credits can be applied towards general electives. Otherwise, consult with an academic advisor for elective options.

Total - 60-65 Credits

¹Counts towards 3 credits of Social Science credits. Students who have successfully completed 60 credits with a GPA of at least a 2.0 may replace SOC 1510 with another Social Science elective.

³ Students may choose to fulfill the BIB/THE/CM elective requirement by taking BIB 1522 or THE 3524 .

* Some courses from the Christian Studies Core and Major Core can be used to fulfill requirements in the General Education Core. By doing that the number of electives needed would increase so that the minimum of 60 credits is reached.
