The Physical Education major is designed for students who anticipate a teaching career in education. This program is planned to meet Minnesota’s requirements for the Physical Education teaching license, grades K–12. The student must be accepted into the Teacher Education Department and meet all its requirements.

Departmental Acceptance

Students apply for departmental acceptance during their sophomore year spring semester or their junior year fall semester. A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA and completion of half of the Christian Service requirements are required for departmental admission in the Physical Education major.
