Organic Chemistry 1 lab focuses on fundamental techniques such as purification, crystallization, extraction, and basic synthesis of organic compounds. Students perform experiments and data analysis involving identification and characterization of organic molecules using melting point determination and spectroscopy. This hands-on experience develops practical skills essential for organic synthesis and analysis.

Prerequisite: CHE 262 and CHE 262L
