SCI 2452 - General Chemistry I (Part 2)

This course is the second of a two-part series that covers the first semester of college chemistry as defined by Crown College (CHE 261 - General Chemistry I). Students must take both parts to get credit for CHE 261 - General Chemistry I. Topics include thermochemistry, chemical bonding, molecular geometry, the properties of gases, acids, bases, and pH. College level laboratory work includes the use of spreadsheets, keeping a scientific notebook writing a formal laboratory report. This course may not be taken in addition to CHE 261 - General Chemistry I.
