Physics 2 continues with the study of electricity, magnetism, optics, and introductory modern physics. Topics include electric fields and potentials, circuits, magnetic forces, electromagnetic waves, light behavior, and an introduction to quantum concepts. This course emphasizes understanding and applying principles that explain a wide range of physical phenomena.

Prerequisite: PHY 225 and PHY 225L

Corequisite: PHY 226L
