Communication Major (B.A.)

This major is offered through the School of Liberal Arts + Education.The Communication program at Crown College equips students to connect, lead, and influence in both professional and relational settings. Rooted in a biblical foundation, the program blends the art and science of communication, emphasizing public speaking, group communication, interpersonal dynamics, digital communication, and strategic messaging. Students learn to craft clear, compelling messages, navigate complex interactions, and build meaningful relationships in a diverse and rapidly changing world.

Graduates are prepared for careers in corporate communication, public relations, nonprofit leadership, ministry, event planning, human resources, marketing, and any field where clear communication and interpersonal insight are essential.

A minimum of 36 credits must be at the upper (300-400) level for a bachelor degree.

Departmental Acceptance


Students apply for departmental acceptance during their sophomore year spring semester or their junior year fall semester. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA is required for departmental admission in the Humanities and Social Science Department .
