Media Arts Major, Digital Arts Concentration (B.A.)

This major is offered through the School of Arts & Sciences. The program is designed to prepare students who anticipate a career in the professional world of media arts, particularly Video Production and/or digital arts. Through a blend of theoretical study and hands-on experience, the Media Arts program prepares students to become proficient filmmakers, videographers, and/or digital artists who can engage with diverse audiences and communicate messages of hope, redemption, and truth. Students, in consultation with their academic advisor, also choose electives appropriate to their educational and vocational goals.

A minimum of 36 credits must be at the upper (300-400) level for a bachelor degree.

Departmental Acceptance
Students apply for departmental acceptance during their sophomore year spring semester or their junior year fall semester. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA is required for departmental admission in the Communication major.
