Alcohol and Drug Counseling Minor

This minor is offered through the School of Online Studies. Those seeking licensure in this field will also need to complete 12 credits of internship courses by adding the Alcohol and Drug Internship Emphasis . Please note that the accelerated graduate classes are only offered online.

Option: Accelerated Degree Program


Qualified students in the Alcohol and Drug Counseling Minor may apply for an accelerated degree program to potentially earn their M.A. in Counseling  in less than the typical three years. Click here for more detailed information regarding the acceptance process for this option.

Course Requirements applying toward MA/Counseling


Students who are accepted into the accelerated M.A. in Counseling  program will substitute the following graduate level courses into the undergraduate degree to fulfill the Alcohol and Drug Counseling minor requirements.
