Counseling Minor

This minor is offered through the School of Arts & Sciences. Please note that most of the undergraduate minor and all of the accelerated graduate classes are only offered online.

Total - 18 Credits


Option: Accelerated Degree Program


Qualified students in the Counseling Minor may apply for an accelerated degree program to potentially earn their M.A. in Counseling  degree in less than the typical three years. Click here for more detailed information regarding the acceptance process for this option.

Course Requirements applying toward MA/Counseling


Students who are accepted into the accelerated M.A. in Counseling  program will substitute the following graduate level courses into the undergraduate degree to fulfill the Counseling minor requirements. They should also consult with their advisor about registering for COUZ 5212 - Counseling Skills, Methods and Techniques Residency  which is a 4 day on campus residency in late May.
