This major is offered through the School of Arts & Sciences. The mission of this major is to equip men and women to enter non-traditional ministry roles in cities, campuses, prisons, group homes, etc. in order to holistically win and disciple the poor, hurting, and hungry.
A minimum of 36 credits must be at the upper (300-400) level for a bachelor degree.

Option: Accelerated Degree Programs
Qualified students may apply for an accelerated degree program to earn their M.A. in Christian Studies (MACS) degree in one additional year instead of the typical two years. Course Requirements for MACS
Students who are accepted into the accelerated MACS program will substitute the following graduate level courses into the undergraduate degree.
Students apply for departmental acceptance during their sophomore year spring semester or their junior year fall semester. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA with a GPA of 2.5 for courses in the major is required for departmental admission in the Youth/Social Ministry major.
