The A.S. in Christian Ministry degree features a core of biblical studies to prepare students for effective disciple-making ministry in a variety of contexts. During the second year, students engage in a guided process of reflecting on their disciple-making and ministry goals. Graduates of this program are prepared to transition into a bachelor degree program or begin an entry-level ministry position.

Christian Studies Core - 15-21 Credits
General Education Core - 31 Credits
Christian Ministry Core - 15 Credits
Elective - 2 Credits
Students who take 18 or 21 credits in the Christian Studies core will fulfill this elective with those credits.
Total - 63-67 Credits
1 Counts towards 3 credits of Social Science credits. Students who have successfully completed 60 credits with a GPA of at least a 2.0 may replace SOC 1510 with another Social Science elective.
2 Click HERE to view options for Social Science, Humanities, Global Awareness, and Fine Arts Electives.
3 Students may choose to fulfill the BIB/THE/CM elective requirement by taking BIB 1522 or THE 3524.
* Some courses from the Christian Studies Core and Major Core can be used to fulfill requirements in the General Education Core. By doing that the number of electives needed would increase so that the minimum of 63 credits is reached.
