The Crown College Graduate School of Counseling serves as a vital expression of the college’s enduring mission to deliver a biblically grounded education for Christian leadership. Anchored in the vision of being the Midwest’s boldly Christian college, the Graduate School of Counseling advances this purpose by preparing students to become compassionate, skilled, and faith-informed mental health professionals.
The M.A. in Counseling (MAC) program extends this mission by equipping future counselors with clinical excellence, ethical integrity, and strong leadership capacity, while thoughtfully integrating Christian principles into the learning process. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based techniques and culturally responsive approaches, ensuring graduates are highly effective in serving individuals from diverse backgrounds in an increasingly global society. Consistent with Christ’s call to love and uplift the marginalized, the MAC program fosters a deep commitment to valuing and advocating for people groups who have been historically persecuted, disempowered, mistreated, or overlooked.
Through its intentional blend of rigorous academic preparation, practical skill development, and Christ-centered formation, the Graduate School of Counseling empowers students to lead and counsel with professional competence and unwavering compassion-fulfilling Crown College’s mission to develop Christian leaders who impact the world for God’s glory.
