The Biblical, Theological and Ministry Studies Department exists to deepen student understanding of God’s Word and to equip men and women as leaders to make disciples. Disciple making begins within our own hearts (Deuteronomy 6:4-9) and extends to our neighbors (Leviticus 19:2, 18; Mark 12:28-31) and across cultures and age levels (Matthew 28:19-20). Ephesians 4:11-13 further describes the five equipping roles for building Christ’s Church worldwide.
The majors of the department combine a strong biblical and theological foundation with applied courses to deepen the global impact of our students. With each major, students may select a minor or integrative electives in consultation with their academic advisor. Students work personally with their faculty advisor to develop a plan of study for immediate ministry effectiveness and further educational pursuits.
