Fisheries Biology and Management covers the biology, ecology, and conservation of fish populations and aquatic resources. Topics include fish anatomy and physiology, population dynamics, habitat requirements, stock assessment, and sustainable fisheries management practices. The course emphasizes balancing ecological health with economic and recreational uses of fisheries.

Prerequisite: BIO 144 and BIO 144L required. BIO 351 and BIO 351L recommended.

Corequisite: BIO 364L
