MAT 141 - Pre-Calculus

FALL and SPRING

This course prepares students for calculus by strengthening their understanding of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Topics include functions (polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic), graph and transformation of functions, conic sections, sequences and series, and trigonometric identities and equations. The course emphasizes problem-solving, mathematical modeling, and analyze real-world problem solving.

Prerequisite: 4 years of high school math recommended
