An introductory survey of visual art offers students the opportunity to explore the world of art from a Christian perspective. Attention to technical elements, historic developments, significant examples, and prominent contributors are included. In addition to fostering general knowledge of visual art, the course will also foster critical reflection from a Christian perspective on the use, message, and formative aspects of various works, eras, and philosophies.
