MIN 5538 - Conquering Racism and Sexism in the American Church

This course examines the historical and modern versions of personal and systemic racism and sexism against people of color and women in the American Church. Students will learn to appreciate the long tradition of resistance that women and people of color have used to combat these inequalities. Students will use the key lessons learned to write an analysis and plan for their ministries of forgiveness, healing, and reconciliation for people who have been marginalized.
