CM 3538 - Exploring Racism and Sexism in the American Church

3 Credits
This ministry course explores an historical and modern overview of racism and sexism in the American Church. Students will develop a deeper understanding of how racism and sexism limit Christian communities and the long tradition of resistance that women and people of color have designed to combat these inequalities. Students will leave with both an understanding of key terms and be able to apply these concepts to provide an avenue for forgiveness, reconciliation, and inclusion.
