CHE 130 - Survey of Chemistry

Survey of Chemistry lecture is a one-semester introduces basic chemical principles for students in health sciences, agriculture, and other non-chemistry majors. Topics include atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, states of matter, acids and bases, and stoichiometry and equilibrium. The course emphasizes conceptual understanding and practical applications of chemistry in everyday life and allied health fields. This course is intended for those students needing only one semester of chemistry.

Prerequisite: MAT 131 recommended

Corequisite: CHE 130L
