MED 456 - Student Teaching: Middle School Social Studies

Direct teaching experience in a 5-8 grade classroom for elementary education majors with a middle school social studies endorsement or secondary social studies education majors. Student teachers observe, participate, teach and engage in extra-class activities under the supervision of selected cooperating teachers and a teacher education faculty member in an approved middle school science classroom.

Prerequisite: Admission to Student Teaching
