MED 454 - Student Teaching: Middle School Communication Arts and Literature

Direct teaching experience in a 5-8 grade classroom for elementary education majors with a middle school communication arts and literature endorsement or secondary communication arts and literature education majors. Student teachers observe, participate, teach and engage in extra-class activities under the supervision of selected cooperating teachers and a teacher education faculty member in an approved middle school communication arts and literature classroom.

Prerequisite: Admission to Student Teaching

Corequisite: EDU 456
