PHI 340X - Introduction to Islam

SPRING

An introductory study of the background, theology, structure, practices and historical development of Islam. Special emphasis will be placed upon the Quran, the life of Muhammad, and modern day expressions of Islam. Also included is a comparison of Islam and Christianity with an emphasis upon building bridges in order to communicate the gospel to the Islamic world. (Cross-listed as ICS 340X)
