EDU 318F - Culturally Responsive Classrooms Field Experience

As a requirement of EDU 318 - Culturally Responsive Classrooms, teacher candidates complete a ten-hour field experience in a multicultural school setting. Teacher candidates work with teachers and students in a classroom that serves English Language Learners and those from culturally diverse backgrounds. Cooperating teachers complete an evaluation of performance and teaching potential. This experience explores understanding diverse identities and focuses on the practice of culturally relevant teaching.

Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education Department
