This class is an overview of literature throughout the history of the British Isles, showing its development from the Anglo-Saxon period to the present day. Students will work individually and collaboratively to explore topics, works, and traditional authors as well as those representing diverse voices in the changing canon. Works selected for this class have high historic significance as well as literary value.
