DEM 1231 - Basic First Aid

This course provides the knowledge and skill need for injury and illness recognition, first aid care and accident prevention. Students who successfully complete this course will receive American Heart Association Certification in Community First Aid, AED and CPR. This course may not be taken in addition to DEM 2156 - Emergency Medical Responder Training, HPE 311 - First Aid/CPR/AED or LWE 356 - Emergency Medical Responder.
