Business analytics refers to how businesses, non-profits, and governments use data to gain insights and make better decisions. With the increasing availability of broad and deep sources of information-so called “Big Data”- business analytics are becoming an even more critical capability for all enterprises. Building upon the Business Data Foundations course introduces the concepts, principles, methods, implementation techniques, and applications of analytics to help business leaders communicate what has happened, influence what is happening, and anticipate what will happen in their business, utilizing primarily Microsoft Power BI. Depending on available opportunities, this course will incorporate a client project so students can apply the content of this course to utilize real-world data to solve a real-world business need.
