FIN 415 - Financial and Operational Performance Management

This course provides an in-depth understanding of how organizations assess, manage, and improve financial and operational performance. Students will explore key financial concepts such as budgeting, financial statement analysis, forecasting and performance metrics, alongside operational strategies for efficiency, quality, and productivity. The curriculum integrates financial decision-making with operational insights to equip students with the tools to evaluate and enhance organizational performance in real-world scenarios. Topics include cost management, key performance indicators (KPIs), balanced scorecards, process optimization, and the alignment of financial and operational goals to drive sustainable growth. Through case studies, simulations, and collaborative projects, students will develop critical thinking and analytical skills, preparing them to make strategic contributions in finance, operations, or management roles. This course is ideal for those pursuing careers in business, finance, supply chain, or consulting.
