DSC 358 - Contemporary Issues in Culture

This class will develop strategies for meeting the needs of youth in a changing youth culture. The student will learn how to assess the relevant social and cultural forces shaping the experience of adolescence in contemporary society. Students will learn to evaluate elements of youth culture, analyze the cultural systems that shape young people and develop effective approaches to discipleship.
