ENG 341 - Creative Writing Seminar

This course focuses on the careful study and creative production of various forms of creative written expression: fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, and drama. Students will read, write, discuss, and critique both historic and contemporary writers as well as evaluate drafts and manuscripts of their peers. Through the writing process, students will generate, outline, draft, submit, and reflect on their compositions. A creative writing portfolio will be submitted by the student for final evaluation and publication.

Prerequisite: ENG 131, ENG 132, and three credits in literature, or consent of the instructor
