ENG 241 - Young Adult Literature

SPRING

A study of a broad range of literature for pre-adolescents and young adults. This course places emphasis on book selection that considers developmental needs and interests, Christian values, and universal themes, as well as understanding established criteria for Newbery and other literary awards. Attention is given to exploring methods of using literature in teaching.
