ECE 331C - Preprimary Clinical Experience

This experience provides an opportunity for students to gain understanding and skills needed to teach preprimary children. Students will observe and apply the theory and skills they have developed in the college classroom to practical situations in a preprimary learning environment. Students will complete assignments required by the course under the supervision of the cooperating teacher. Cooperating teachers complete an evaluation of performance. The clinical experience is carried out with child contact in the preprimary school or daycare-learning environment with a teacher present who has current PELSB licensure. Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grading.

Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Education Department
