EXS 6014 - Psycho-Physiological Responses in Extreme Conditions

3 Credits
The student will understand the role of psychology and physiology - psycho-physiology in diffusing the pathways that interact with the perceived response of preventing death. This course will evaluate the adaptations required to accomplish extreme feats in the military elites as well as police, SWAT and firefighters. Additionally, the student will examine new set points of homeostasis when pushed in extreme environments. The student will learn about stress inoculation.
