NUR 446 - Nursing as Ministry

This course will explore what it means to be a Christian nurse from an interprofessional perspective. Starting with the foundations of nursing as ministry, to fulfilling your sacred calling to nursing, applying the nursing process and ministry, and preparing for nursing as ministry at home and abroad, concepts will be explored through clinical reasoning and personal reflection exercises. Developing a personal commitment to nursing as ministry will focus on caring for one’s spiritual self, caring for one another with Christ’s light, mentoring in the example of Christ, and Christian-based leadership in nursing.
