Executive Leadership Emphasis for M.A. in Christian Studies or Ministry Leadership

A concentration or emphasis may be added to any graduate degree program by declaring the emphasis upon initial enrollment or in consultation with a student’s academic advisor. Students with graduate degree programs which have multiple general elective slots are encouraged to declare an emphasis or concentration. Students who do not have sufficient general elective slots in their degree program may extend their program of study to add a concentration or emphasis. At least 50% of the concentration or emphasis coursework must be completed through Crown College.
Note: If required concentration or emphasis track courses have been taken as a part of the degree core, an additional 3 credits of concentration or emphasis track electives per course will be required in order to fulfill the concentration/emphasis requirements.
This emphasis is only available to students in the M.A. in Christian Studies or M.A. in Ministry Leadership degree programs.

Emphasis Requirements
Students are strongly encouraged to take GRD 5012 or MBA 5206 for the elective if these courses are not part of their degree core. Students taking one of these elective courses plus the other MBA courses in this emphasis will be able to transfer 15-18 credit hours into the MBA program upon the completion of their M.A. degree provided they meet the other prerequisite requirements of the MBA program. The GRD 5017 requirement in the MBA program will be fulfilled by MIN 6210 from the M.A. program.
Enrollment in MBA 6224 is contingent upon meeting the prerequisite requirement for that course.
