Pastoral Leadership Major (B.A.)

The mission of the Pastoral Leadership major is to equip students to lead and shepherd healthy, great-commission disciples and churches. The major builds on a foundational study of the humanities and sciences, the Bible, and theology. Students are allowed elective hours which may be used for a minor or concentration in a particular area of ministry. Students are encouraged to complete the Greek Language Emphasis that offers a study of the New Testament in its original language. This emphasis is valuable for biblical preaching and further theological study especially if a student is planning to go to seminary.

Pastoral Leadership majors are encouraged to complete the Greek Emphasis as part of their elective requirements. Please Click Here for the specific requirements for the Greek Emphasis. Minors and arranged electives are selected in consultation with the academic advisor. Total - 125 Credits

Departmental Acceptance
Students apply for departmental acceptance during their sophomore year spring semester or their junior year fall semester. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA, GPA of 2.5 for courses in major, and completion of three Christian Service requirements are required for departmental admission in the Pastoral Leadership major.
